Argotec Adds Vinyl Alternatives for Outdoor Usage

Environmentally conscious film and overlaminate.

Big Picture

Argotec has released the ArgoGraph Two-Part TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) Graphic Film System for vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, exterior signage, decals, and more. Featuring ArgoGraph-White adhesive film and ArgoGraph-Clear overlaminate, the system is reportedly free of halogens, phthalates, oils, petroleum, VOCs, and plasticizers typically found in vinyl films.

ArgoGraph-White comes with an air-egress release liner and is printable with solvent, eco-solvent, and latex inks. Both films are designed to resist abrasion, chips, cold cracking, yellowing, and road wear and tear up to 5 years outdoors. Argotec reports they are conformable to both smooth and uneven surfaces.

Both are available in up to 62-in. widths. ArgoGraph White is offered in thicknesses greater than 2 mil; ArgoGraph-Clear ranges from 1 to 4 mil. The overlaminate is available coated or uncoated.
