2018: That’s a Wrap

Avery Dennison reveals most impressive vinyl projects of the year.

Avery Dennison has announced 2018’s top vinyl wraps that utilized Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film, Conform Chrome, and digitally printed films MPI 1105, MPI 1405, and MPI 2728. For the fifth consecutive year, the company selected five vehicle and five nonvehicle vinyl wraps that showcase “unique, technically challenging, and overall visually pleasing work from wrap installers,” according to a release.

The nonvehicle wrap winners include:

A tricky brick beach wall wrap installed by Workhorse Signs

A psychedelic hoverboard design created by Vehicle Wraps Inc.

Fun Lego museum exhibit window vinyl implemented by CKL Wraps

A 56-foot-long racing yacht job printed by Wrapture Customs

Phillips Signs and Graphics’ weathered wood design guitar wrap

The top five vehicle vinyl awards go to:

A “warplane look” truck wrap for a vehicle built by Legendary Customs in the Amsoil booth at SEMA 2018, created by IVS Wraps with design help from Dan Nava of the International Brotherhood of Wrappers

Spectrum Auto’s marble-look vehicle vinyl

Wrap Like a King Regional Winner Canadian Wrap Masters’ truck wrap with a hand-drawn design

A 53-foot-long Formula Drift racing team trailer installed by Bullitt Auto Detail and Vinyl Wraps; the shop also received a nod in last year’s top Avery Dennison wraps for innovative fidget spinner vinyl

The 2018 Wrap Like a King Challenge global winner, the warplane-inspired Mission Flyer 2.0 by MetroWrapz
