Canon Launches the Océ Arizona 600 Series

The flatbed is an upgrade to the Arizona 550 series.

Canon Solutions America has launched the Océ Arizona 600 series of UV flatbed printers. The Océ Arizona 600 series is an upgrade to the Arizona 550 series, comprising four different models: the Arizona 640 GT (four independent ink channels, CMYK printing, standard table size of 49.2 x 98.4 in.); the Arizona 640 XT (four ink channels, CMYK printing, extra-large table size of 98.4 x 120 in.); the Arizona 660 GT (six ink channels, multiple print configurations, standard table); and the Arizona 660 XT (six independent ink channels, multiple print configurations, extra-large table). The six-channel models can be configured for max. productivity by adding extra cyan and magenta nozzle capacity, or for optimized white ink utility; or by adding both white ink and varnish for max. versatility. All models can print on rigid media up to 2-in. thick; a Roll Media Option is available to print on flexible media up to 86.6-in. wide. Additional features include: Océ VariaDot imaging technology for true grayscale tonal reproduction; a precise vacuum system (6 zones on the GT models, 7 on the XT models); batch-mode operation for unattended production; and more. Top speed on the 660 XT is 535 sq ft/hr.
