Canon’s ProCut Auto Pilot Feature

Bringing automation to digital finishing.

Big Picture

Canon has launched its Océ ProCut Auto Pilot system, an automation platform leveraging a Canon DSLR camera to recognize reference marks on each printed piece and generate the pertinent cutting data, thus eliminating the need to manually scan a barcode for each job. The system works in tandem with Océ ProCut Vision software (version 4.7 or newer required).

When used with the optional Automatic Router Bit Changer, the system enables automation of up to eight different tools for routing, polishing, engraving, and more.
