Big Picture

Foster Keencut has introduced its Evolution manual precision cutter, designed for wide-format print providers and sign makers. Available in five sizes (64- to 144-in.), the Evolution can cut materials up to ½-in. thick. It features a heavy-duty cutter bar, an attachable fabric cutting wheel, adjustable leveler, and a lift-hold mechanism operable from both sides. The Evolution mounts to an existing table, or can be matched to the company’s Proteus Work Bench (optional).

The company also announced that its SteelTrak vertical cutter now features two new optional accessories: an aluminum twin-wheel cutting wheel, which can cut up to 080 aluminum; and a new V-groove cutting tool that enables the folding of PVC, corrugated plastic, and aluminum composite material.
