Founder of the Lowen Corporation Passes

C.W. “Mike” Lowen passed away at age 84.

The founder of signs and graphics manufacturer Lowen Corporation, C.W. “Mike” Lowen, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Bullhead City, Arizona, at the age of 84.

A successful entrepreneur who founded many business ventures, Lowen was also a published writer, musician, sailor, pilot, artist, photographer, gold miner, videographer, computer programmer, chef, boat builder, and adventurer. 

He is survived by his wife, Ann Self Lowen; daughter, Ann Brown and her husband Gordon; son, Matt Lowen; grandsons, Wesley, Brett, and Henry Lowen; and a brother, John Lowen. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Lowen.

He was laid to rest in a private service near his desert home in Oatman, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choosing in Mike's memory.
