GMG Expands GMG Americas Operations
Company cites rapid business growth in the US.

GMG reports that its customer base has expanded significantly over the past 2 years. Earlier this year, the company indicated that sales in the Americas doubled in 2005. Meanwhile, sales for 2006 are continuing to increase "at a rapid pace," says GMG.
"Although many associate GMG solely with proofing solutions and RIPs that drive inkjet printers, additional products such as GMG ColorServer and GMG InkOptimizer are tightly integrated into graphics workflows for the entire supply chain, including content originators, designers, prepress tradeshops, and printers. We made an assessment that we needed to provide more resources to coordinate and support products like ColorServer," says Jim Summers, president of GMG Americas. "We are pleased that our parent company strongly stands behind our rapidly expanding business in the Americas. These resources allow us to deliver faster, more accurate support for our customers and partners." "
The GMG ColorSupport program is a service delivered directly by GMG Americas' technical-services staff for an annual fee. Customers can obtain support via phone, e-mail, Internet, and interactive WebEx sessions.
