ICC Launches Updated Website

Site features section for new color-management users, and more.

Big Picture
The International Color Consortium's new website is designed to make information about the ICC's work more accessible and easier to use.

"We conducted a number of informal user and developer surveys [and] one of the consistent messages we received from those surveys was that while the website contained a lot of really useful information, it was difficult to find," says Craig Revie, ICC chairman. "The new website layout addresses this problem, and also add new content." "

The new site features: a section designed for new color-management users; details on the v4 ICC specs and profiles; a test to analyze whether a user's system handles v4 files correctly; new white papers on color management and other topics; and an interactive capability to ask questions of Dr. Philip Green, ICC's technical secretary.
