Big Picture

Mactac Graphic Products has debuted PermaGard PG7285XL, an addition to its line of Permacolor pressure-sensitive overlaminates. Designed for interior and exterior signage, murals, P-O-P displays, and wide-format graphics requiring protection from UV light, weather, and scuffing, it’s repositionable, non-reflective, has a white paper liner, and can be used over UV, solvent, eco-solvent and latex wide-format prints. The 2.75-mil matte overlam is available in 79 in. x 164-ft rolls. The product will replace Mactac’s current Permacolor IP7286 overlaminate.

The company has also announced that its Imagin Wallnoodle WN628 can now be latex printed to the edge for borderless graphics. The 6.0-mil matte white, semi-rigid calendered PVC film features a poly-coated kraft liner and offers a removable, repositionable acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The Wallnoodle WN628 is intended for wide-format, eco-solvent, solvent-based, latex, UV-cured inkjet, and offset printing.
