MacTac PrintCover Overlaminate

New overlaminate is designed to serve UV-cured graphics.

Big Picture

MacTac has extended its Permacolor line of overlaminates with the introduction of the new PrintCover line. This 1-mil polyester film with a clear permanent acrylic adhesive protects short-term indoor and outdoor graphics such as P-O-P signs, menus, and other promotional images from UV light, moisture, scratching, and scuffing.

Compatible with all inkjet printing technologies, PrintCover is specifically designed for graphics printed with UV-curable machines. Available with a gloss (PC7000) or matte (PC7200) finish, it features advanced adhesion technology, which provides superior wet-out on UV-printed graphics, the company reports.

The overlam features a polyester liner that creates a smooth adhesive coating, eliminates rips and tears, and decreases lamination process time. PrintCover offers a 1-yr outdoor and 3-yr indoor durability; it’s available in 54- and 60-in. rolls.
