Using Mutoh water-based disperse dye inks, the printer can transfer onto flexible and ridged polyester materials and is ideal for production of soft signage, sportswear, home décor, flags and pennants, and more. Features include Interweave print technique, ValueJet Status Monitor, and automatic sheet-off after printing. A bulk-ink system and heavy-duty take-up reel (pictured) are optional. Price: $27,995.

Mutoh also has showcased its ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) “smart” software, which monitors ink levels, heater settings, firmware updates, color output, and more on the company’s ValueJet printer line. Printer functions are checked by VSM to ensure the printer is providing consistent output; the operator is notified via e-mail or smart phone of any problems. In addition, the user can check the status of the ink level and heater temperatures via the Internet, from any PC with installed VSM software.
