Nekoosa Holdings Acquires the MagneCote Business

Nekoosa Holdings, Inc., parent company of Nekoosa Coated Products, has acquired the MagneCote magnetic-paper business from MagnetNotes, LLC. MagneCote has been part of Nekoosa's product portfolio for the last five years, and the company will now take full ownership of the business globally. All manufacturing and converting is being moved to CET Films Corp., the Lakewood, New Jersey-based division of Nekoosa that specializes in extrusion.

Nekoosa Coated Products operates as a division of Nekoosa Holdings, Inc., which is part of the Wingate Partners portfolio of companies in Dallas. In April of this year, Nekoosa Coated Products, RTape Corp., and CET Films Corp. merged. In addition to the MagneCote magnetic-paper line, the Nekoosa Coated Products portfolio of products includes ThermaTac removable vinyl signage engineered for dry toner/laser printing; Thermanent digital polyester; a full line of FSC- certified digital coated papers; and Synaps OM and Synaps Digital XM synthetic papers from Agfa.
