New Buyers’ Panel Announced for 2011 Signage and Graphics Summit
Clear Channel Outdoor, SuperValu, and Bealls headline the SGS Buyers' Panel, January 27, 2011 in Tampa.
ST Media Group International, publisher of The Big Picture, has announced that buyers from Clear Channel Outdoor, SuperValu, and Bealls (Tampa) will be featured on the 2011 Signage and Graphics Summit (SGS) Buyers’ Panel.
This year’s panelists include Harry Steen, Manager of Creative Design, Supervalu; Karen Filips, Director-Ad Production, Bealls (the department store chain headquartered in Tampa with 76 locations); and Charlie Turner, Executive VP-Operations, Clear Channel Outdoor.
Now in its fifth year, SGS is the only event in the industry that brings together top-tier executives from three different industries (high-volume sign, digital printing and screen printing) for a high-level idea exchange. Topics of discussion include common challenges, best business practices, and growth opportunities. It will be held January 26-28 at the Saddlebrook Resort in Tampa, Florida.
The SGS Buyers’ Panel is one of the most popular sessions at SGS, and features an open discussion between attendees and a select group of high-volume signage and graphics.
“We are excited this year, as we are every year, about the caliber of panelists,” says Steve Duccilli, Publisher of ST Media Group’s Screen Printing and The Big Picture magazines. “The Buyers’ Panel is one-of-a-kind because it gives signage and graphics producers a chance to learn what issues are really driving the decisions that key accounts are making. The panel features top buyers from several distinct market segments. You’ll find out how the signage and graphics programs for these buyers are changing, what critical factors drive their procurement processes, and ways they’d like their vendors to improve. It covers a lot of ground and gives the attendees perspective that might take months of sales calls to glean,” says Duccilli.
In addition to the Buyers’ Panel, SGS offers a variety of other educational seminars featuring speakers and thought-provoking roundtable discussions. There are many networking and social events, too, including the highly anticipated SGS golf tournament. This year, the tournament will take place at one of two Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses at the Saddlebrook Resort.
