New Signage Resources for Businesses

ISA partners with US Chamber of Commerce.

The International Sign Association (ISA) has partnered with the US Chamber of Commerce to publish a detailed section on signage, authored by ISA, on its website, www.uschamber.com. Titled, "Signage: Your Voice on the Street"? and geared toward the country"?s business owners, the section is designed to educate business owners on the importance of on-premise signs as marketing tools and to serve as a sign-related information resource.

Divided into eight distinct sections, "Signage: Your Voice on the Street"? explores a variety of topic areas, from the value of signs to dealing with local sign codes. The sections include: "Signs: The Bottom Line,"? "Signs as Marketing,"? " The Right Sign for Your Business,"? "How to Choose a Sign Company,"? "Financing a Sign,"? "Your Legal Rights,"? " Applying for a Permit,"? and "Obtaining a Variance."?

"The ISA-Chamber collaboration is another example of the association"?s efforts to reach out to businesses that are not already familiar with the sign industry,"? says Lori Anderson, ISA president and CEO. "As the trade organization representing the on-premise signage industry, it"?s our responsibility to educate business owners of the important role signs play in their success."?
