Scanvec Amiable Appoints Harel as Chairman, Names Blundell President and CEO

Cancels Acquisition of Treved

Big Picture
Scanvec Amiable has appointed company co-founder Dr. Ramon Harel chairman of its Board of Directors, and has named Mark Blundell its president and CEO, effective January 1, 2005.

"?Now that the company has achieved a period of stability, this is the appropriate time to turn over the reins to a younger generation," says Harel. "I am pleased to be continuing my involvement as chairman, and I anticipate a bright future for Scanvec Amiable." Harel will remain actively involved in the company's business, including maintaining and developing strategic relationships and heading the company's color-copier project.

Meanwhile, the company's agreement to acquire Treved LLC, the provider of workflow-management software, has been terminated by mutual consent. Scanvec Amiable had announced in early October that it had agreed to acquire Treved , including the company's software as well as its $1 million cash balance.
