SGIA’s annual Tom Frecska Student Printing Competition has opened for entries. Named for the late editor of Screen Printing magazine, a sister publication to Big Picture, the competition celebrates the projects of graphic arts students at the secondary and post-secondary levels across a variety of specialty imaging categories. Entries must be:

• Submitted on behalf of student printers by graphics instructors who hold an SGIA educational membership;
• Produced during the 2015-16 school year;
• And submitted by June 30.

The competition is sponsored by the Academy of Screen and Digital Printing Technologies. There is no fee, and projects can be the work of an individual or group of students.

Winners will be awarded at the 2016 SGIA Expo in Las Vegas, September 14-16; all submissions will be displayed on the show floor.

Applicants can view the entry form, judging criteria, and categories on the SGIA website.
