Southern Style Printing with Same-Day Turnarounds
GCI Graphics tackles 200+ graphics for Atlanta Food and Wine Festival.
“Eat. Drink. Southern.” was the tagline for this year’s Atlanta Food and Wine Festival, an annual event in the city’s midtown neighborhood celebrating Southern cuisine. But for GCI Graphics, the festival’s motto was more like “Print. Deliver. Repeat.”
GCI was tasked with delivering more than 200 individual graphics, including promotions, wayfinding signage, and floor graphics to the festival. But the shop often found themselves in a state of “hurry up and wait,” says Tyler Alexander, senior account executive; many times, they received the artwork just in time to print and deliver the graphic all in the same day. (“We’ve never missed a deadline,” he adds.)
The majority of the festival signage was printed on Coroplast and Foamcore via GCI’s Vutek 3250. For an additional American Express-sponsored, air-conditioned tent, the Vutek churned out a floor graphic on G-Floor material, while a 200-square-foot banner was imaged using a Teleios Grande printer.
