At ISA, Splash of Color introduced its new 63-in. Cool-Lam 640C cold laminator. Ideal for materials that are sensitive to heat, users can laminate prints using pressure-sensitive films or mount graphics with adhesives at speeds up to 10 ft/min. The laminator accommodates materials up to 0.5-in. thick and can be used for applications such as vehicle graphics, architectural signage, P-O-P, tradeshow displays, and photographic output.

The Cool-Lam is simple to use, but designed to provide all of the features that experienced operators expect, reports the company. Features include: three-button operation, a single set of main rollers, simple nip-adjust level, powered take-up shafts, rewind for release liner, foot-pedal operation, easy-to-clean silicone rollers, photo-beam-safety system, a removable feed tray, and floor stand.
