T-Flex Laminate from LexJet

Multipurpose cold laminate for banner stands, trade-show graphics, and P-O-P signage.

Big Picture

LexJet has introduced its new 5-mil T-Flex multipurpose laminate. The optically clear film, comprising a proprietary co-polymer with a solvent-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, is rigid and exhibits little curl, making it compatible with applications such as banner stands, trade-show graphics, and P-O-P signage.

"Customers are looking for ways to simplify and reduce their inventory. T-Flex does that since it combines the economy of a thermal laminate with the quality of a co-polymer cold-laminate film and fits the bill for almost any application," says Jeff Leto, LexJet product manager.

For cold lamination, the company suggests laminating at 90? to 100? to prevent silvering. If this product is used in combination with a thermal backer, LexJet suggests use a low-melt thermal backer that activates between 190? and 200?. After lamination, allow the adhesive to cure 2 hours before cutting or trimming. T-Flex is available in 25- to 51-in. rolls.
