Teckwin Adds TeckRouter 1530

Offers a 64 x 102-in. cutting area.

Big Picture

The TeckRouter has been added to Teckwin’s family of UV-printing systems. The 89 x 144-in. table has a cutting area of 64 x 102-in. Armed with the i-cut Vision system, the TeckRouter can make linear and non-linear adjustments to produce precise print-to-cut registration.

The router offers:

* cutting speed up to 14 in./sec;

* repeatability of 0.002 in.;

* a vacuum hold-down with a 10-HP pump;

* accommodation of media up to 2-in. thick and chucks up to 12-mm thick; and

* an 18,000-RPM router.

The TeckRouter imports cutting files from all major wide-format RIPs and can accurately route materials such as acrylic, Sintra, polycarbonate, plywood, MDF, foam, and aluminum composites, the company reports.
