June 1 deadline -- manufacturers and print shops can nominate.
Printing Industries of America is seeking entries for its 2010 InterTech Technology Awards. The awards recognize new and innovative technologies deemed likely to have a major impact on the graphic-communications industry.
Technologies from all areas of the graphic arts are eligible, including all forms of printing, wide-format/display graphics, graphic design, packaging, newspaper, mailing, bindery, finishing, fulfillment, and others. In order to be considered, a technology must meet the following criteria:
• be commercially available in the marketplace;
• be a proven industrial/commercial application; and.
• be beyond beta-testing stage (pre-release products are ineligible).
Manufacturers and developers of equipment, software, and processes, as well as print shops and technology users can nominate new and innovative technologies. Online pre-registration closing date is March 31; final application deadline is June 1. Entries nominated by an OEM/supplier are subject to a $1500 entry fee ($2000 after March 31). InterTech Award recipients will be notified no later than July 31.
Inaugurated in 1978, the InterTech Technology Awards have been granted to more than 240 recipients to date.
