Alien Skin Software has made available Blow Up 3, the new version of its photo-enlargement plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, and Photoshop Lightroom. New features include:
• Improved image-quality, designed to make edges sharper without introducing artifacts;
• Lightroom integration that supports batch processing and does not require Photoshop;
• A simpler interface that allows the user to set paper/media size and crop region (presets for standard paper sizes are included); and
• Faster running speed on Mac and Win systems, the company reports, particularly with batched photos.
Blow Up 3 requires one of the following host applications: Adobe Photoshop CS4 or later; Photoshop Elements 8 or later; or Photoshop Lightroom 2 or later.
Price: $199; $99 for upgrades of previous versions of the software.
