Non-destructive photo-processing tools for RAW, JPEG, and TIFF files.
ArcSoft has released ArcSoft PhotoStudio Darkroom 1.5, a new version of its image-editing software that provides non-destructive photo-processing tools for RAW, JPEG, and TIFF files. The processing tools allow for adjusting white balance, exposure, de-noise, hue and saturation, brightness and contrast, and curves and levels. Also included are lens- and chromatic-corrections tools.
New software features include: a built-in photo browser; the ability to import from camera or removable drive; RAW-format support for Sony, Kodak, Olympus, Sigma, Mamiya, and Epson, in addition to the previous manufacturers supported; automatic red-eye removal; one-click spot and patch removal; a copy-and-paste recipe that lets users apply the processing performed on one image to other images; and the ability to convert RAW files to Adobe DNG.
