June 2 at museum's new Cincinnati facility.
The American Sign Museum, based in Cincinnati, has scheduled a public “sneak preview” of its new facility on June 2. Now based in a 42,000-square-foot former parachute factory in Cincinnati’s Camp Washington area, the new museum will feature:
* 19,300 square feet of exhibit space;
* 3800 cataloged items;
* 28-foot-high ceilings to accommodate large signs;
* a working neon shop;
* event space for up to 800 people;
* signmaking archives, and more.
The sneak preview is a paid event. The museum’s official Grand Opening Ceremony will take place June 23, at 10:00 a.m.
The American Sign Museum is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. Its mission is to inform and educate the general public, as well as business and special-interest groups, about the history of the sign industry and its significant contribution to commerce and the American landscape.
