Supports wide-format printers with 16-bit processing.
DigiFab has released the latest version of its Evolution Graphics RIP, which supports large-format printers including models from Canon, Epson, HP, Mimaki, Roland, and others.
Specifically, the Evolution RIP now features: 16-bit processing, allowing users to preserve the original depth of color; support for 12-color printers; improved continuous and smooth tones via an enhanced use of individual inks; and improved handling of grayscale and a Gray-Scale option which improves and enhances black-and-white images via image-patch profiling.
The Evolution Graphics RIP also comes with new photo-importing template options, enhanced ink usage for continuous tone, and textile-design printing functions. The software is compatible with most graphic programs as well as commercial software including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and Corel.
The Evolution RIP is available in several versions, including: Graphics RIP Lite (does not support wide-format printers); Graphics RIP; RIP Textiles & Graphics; and RIP Plus Textiles & Graphics.
