Drytac Expands Printable Eclipse Line

Glossy and Solvent films now available.

Building upon its Printable Eclipse line of print media for curl-free banner stand graphics, Drytac has introduced two new products: Printable Eclipse Solvent and Printable Eclipse Glossy.

Compatible with mild-solvent printers such as the Seiko ColorPainter, Mimaki JV3, Roland SolJet/VersaCamm, and Grenadier, as well as full-solvent printers, Printable Eclipse Solvent is a polyester film available in 6- and 12-mil thicknesses. Featuring an anti-reflective bright-matte surface, it allows for optimum ink adhesion, is scratch- and water-resistant, and has a gray lightblock backing rated at 100% opacity. In addition, it contains an anti-static treatment for better on-printer performance.

For use with aqueous dye and pigment inksets, Printable Eclipse Glossy is a polyester film with a nano-porous surface treatment. Available in 6- or 12-mil thicknesses, it dries instantly to a water-resistant gloss finish designed to enhance color.Both films are available in 36- and 50-in. rolls.
