Available in 24- and 44-in. models.
DuPont has released to the digital proofing market its new solution, the DuPont Cromalin Largo. Available in two models--the Largo2406 and Largo 4406--the system is driven by the new DuPont Cromanet CS software-based color output controller that can be updated from the DuPont website, and is designed to produce contract-quality proofs with DuPont ink and specialty proofing media at a more affordable cost level.
Configured as a plug-and-play proofing solution, the aqueous-based Largo series features drop-on-demand inkjet technology with a 2400 x 1200-dpi addressable resolution, rollfed substrates, and DuPont pigmented inks. The Largo2406 is 24-in. wide for 4-up proofing and has a print speed of 103 sq ft/hr, while the Largo4406 is 44-in. wide for 8-up or wide-format proofing and features a print speed of 118 sq ft/hr.
The system includes Largo printer, Cromanet software, ink/media start-up kit, and one-year warranty.
