Enfocus previewed version 7 of its Pit-
Stop Professional software at the recent
IPEX show in the UK. An Adobe Acrobat
plug-in that enables users to perform PDF
preflight, auto-correction, and editing,
PitStop features Certified PDF technology
providing immediate visual feedback and
tracking of PDF edits.

New improvements in version 7
include:

• A revamped Enfocus Navigator for
  overview of errors, warnings, and fixes;

• An upgraded preflight report to present
  information in a simple manner,
  which can be customized with customer
  company logos;

• An all-in-one PDF/X check for the
  profile editor; and

• Instant PDF 3, the in-application PDF
  help system, has been added.

This latest version also includes new
View and File Settings that extend preflight
by allowing checks to be made on file size
and name length. A warning is given when
overprint-viewing or color-management
settings are not correctly configured"?
