FiberMark, the Vermont-based manufacturer of specialty cellulose and synthetic fiber-based printing media, has announced a portfolio of FiberMark-branded products for wide-format inkjet printers. All of the products are FSC-certified.
“Leveraging FiberMark’s core technologies and manufacturing capabilities, and developing new product lines created specifically for inkjet printers that use today’s durable latex, solvent, and UV-curable inkjet inks, FiberMark has created a portfolio of wide format inkjet print media that is PVC-free, environmentally responsible, economical, durable, and application specific,” says Dr. Robert Conforti, senior VP, New Business Development, for FiberMark.
FiberMark’s new portfolio includes:
Endura-Print: Latex-saturated, durable wet-strength papers and non-wovens; they range from 7- to 17-mils thick, and are compatible with latex, eco-solvent, solvent, and UV-curable printers. In 30-, 54-, and 60-in. widths.
Flexart: 12-mil textured, latex-saturated, reinforced, nonwoven print media; a durable canvas-like nonwoven that can be used in a variety of commercial décor applications. Compatible with latex, solvents, and UV-curable inks. In 54- and 60-in. widths.
Duoboard: a 30-mil thick dense press board that has an identical print surface on both sides; compatible with UV-curable inks. Stock sizes: 28 x 40- and 48 x 96-in.
