Streamline revamps a massive 26-foot kitchen on wheels.

In "A Healthy Wrappetite," Associate Editor Kiersten Feuchter dives into five food truck wraps created by Buffalo, New York-based Streamline Designs. All featured truck graphics were printed on a Roland Soljet Pro 4 XR-640, wrapped with 3M Controltac IJ180Cv3, and laminated with 3M Scotchcal Gloss Overlaminate 8518.

This truck – the largest the Streamline crew has ever wrapped – features a 26-foot kitchen, designed to churn out 350 burgers per hour. (The average food truck kitchen is about 18 feet long.) Tom Wahl’s was looking to ramp up their catering efficiency and wanted a 1950s-style diner feel to complement their homemade root beer, burgers, and fries. Streamline's Chris Lorich says one of the tricks of the trade they’ve learned is to position logos and contact information strategically; when the service window is open, customers should still be able to see who they’re buying from.
