Four Companies Make Personnel Moves

Four of the market's companies have made personnel changes of note:

"? Nazdar has named Stewart Partridge its business unit director for the company's Digital Ink division. He will be responsible for Nazdar's digital inks product and sales strategy on a global basis, and will set the direction for the company's research and development. Partridge recently served as managing director of Web Consulting Ltd. in the UK, and previously served in a variety of roles at Autotype International; he was founding vice president of ESMA, the European Screenprinting Manufacturers' Association.

"? NUR Macroprinters has appointed David Reis its new president and CEO. Currently the CEO of ImageID -- a venture-backed technology startup headquartered in Tel Aviv "? Reis has a wide-format pedigree: He previously served as CEO of Scitex Vision, purchased by Hewlett-Packard in 2005, and as CEO of Idanit, purchased by Scitex in 1998. Reis is expected to assume his position in Q1 of this year; until then, Eli Blatt, a partner at Fortissimo Capital Fund and a member of Nur's board of directors, will serve as interim CEO. In addition, David Amir, Nur's previous CEO and president, will advise the company during the management transition.

"? Oce has announced the appointment of Gido van Praag to president and CEO of Oce Display Graphics Systems, Inc. He assumes the position previously held by Wilbert Verheyen, who accepted another assignment within Oce. Van Praag has a long Oce history: He came to Oce Display Graphics Systems from Oce-Japan Corporation, where he served as president and representative director; prior to that, he was director of sales and marketing for Oce-Japan. In addition, he was international marketing director at Oce Technologies in Venlo, the Netherlands and managing director of Oce Singapore. He held the position of sales executive at Schlumberger Graphics, which was acquired by Oce in 1989.

"? Ultraflex Systems has promoted Lorna D'Alessio, formerly vice president worldwide, to president. D'Alessio joined the company 5 years ago; she will assume responsibility for all business development, sales, operations, and marketing functions for the company.
