Identifies barriers and drivers
As digital-ink pioneer Dr. Ray Work of Work Associates points out, "To get the low viscosity required to jet droplets of UV-curable inks from the printheads, ink chemists can only use low molecular weight polymers. Screen-printing inks can use polymers with much higher molecular weights, producing inherently stronger building blocks when the molecules in the inks are cross-linked during the polymerization process."
