GBC has added several films to its Arctic Cold line of laminates. New are:

* Arctic Lo-Tack, for window graphics and temporary decorations. This is an optically clear polyester film coated on one side with a permanent adhesive; the other side is coated with a grooved removable adhesive for easy application by hand without leaving bubbles;

* 7-mil Arctic Floor Mat is a cast vinyl with UV-rated slip-resistance that resists scratching;

* Arctic Choice cast vinyl is a 2-mil lustre laminate warranted for up to 7-yr outdoor use; and

* 3-mil Arctic Select calendered vinyl is a gloss overlaminate warranted for 3-yr outdoor usage; it's suggested for long-term outdoor signage and flat-panel graphics.

Also new is Arctic Dura Mount, a polypropylene carrier coated on both sides with a permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive, which bonds well to porous, non-plastic surfaces.

In addition, GBC has expanded its Octiva line of laminates for the single-sided commercial market with the introduction of Octiva Scuff-Free Matte film. The thermal laminate comprises polypropylene with an engineered abrasion-resistant surface that enhances the look of trade-show exhibits, point-of-purchase displays, and other indoor signage. Available in 38- to 61-in. rolls.
