New features include stand-by and auto-off modes.
GBC has introduced the GBC 2064WF-1 laminator, an upgrade to its 2064WF model. Designed for high-production environments, the machine can laminate graphics up to 64 in. wide at speeds up to 18 ft/min, and features swing-out supply shafts for loading and unloading. The 2064WF-1 can accommodate materials up to 1 in. thick; the user can incrementally select optimal pressure for all film gauges and substrate thicknesses.
Features include a repositionable foot pedal control; stand-by and auto-off modes that power down the machine if it’s left unused for long periods; an advanced electrical safety system that prevents danger to fingers when loading and unloading graphics; and a chill idler roller. Both sides of the laminator feature control panels, and multiple rollers enable the machine to run thermal and pressure-sensitive finishing jobs consecutively.
