Ledco’s Automatic Cutter is designed for use with the company’s HS30 Thoroughbred Laminator, but will adapt to fit other manufacturer’s equipment, Ledco reports. Cuts up to 30-in. wide with a max. cutting thickness of up to 50 mils; cutting speed is 150 ft/min max.
The company’s CF3 series of flatbed cutting plotters is available with three types of changeable cutting heads: M head (router), R1 head (reciprocal cutter), and TF2 head (tangential cutter). The reciprocating blade cuts through (or creases) corrugated board like a typical saw would, as well as thick, soft materials; the tangential blade is like an X-acto knife and does sharp cuts with pressure, cutting materials from soft to rigid with a cutting force of up to 11 lb; the router head is for cutting hard materials like metals, thick plastics, wood, Gatorboard, and Dibond. Available in 122 x 63- and 39.3 x 63-in. sizes (cut area); max. cutting depth for the router is 1.96 in., for the reciprocating cutter is 0.78 in., and for the tangential cutter is 0.39 in. Included: FineCut 7 software to create cutting data from CorelDraw and Adobe files; and Mimaki Plotter Manager, to set up cutting conditions.Also available: the CF2 series of flatbed cutting plotters (in various configurations); plus three different series of roll/sheet cutting plotters including the CG-SRII series, the CG-60SR, and the CG-60SL.

Its Digital Express high-speed digital registration, routing, and knife cutting system is available in a range of table sizes, from 60 x 60 to 80 x 120 in. and cuts 7000 in./min. It comes standard with the company’s MultiVision digital registration system. Features include 3 HP, 4 HP, or 5.5 HP high-speed routing spindles, up to three tangential knife receivers, and automatic tool- and knife-changing systems. Also available is the Graph-X Cutter.
