"Solutions to a very hungry marketplace"?
The 2005 edition of the Graphics of the Americas tradeshow will feature the addition of a Wide Format/Sign & Banner exhibit hall, as well as a conference on variable data printing.
Although it has been showcasing wide-format digital printing since 1997, this will be the first time the event has provided a specific venue for the marketplace. Exhibit space for wide-format/sign-and-banner products and services at Graphics of the Americas has grown from 400 sq ft in 1997 to 7900 sq ft in 2004.
"Wide format is hot, and suppliers say they need more and bigger venues to show their solutions to a very hungry marketplace," says Chris Price, vice president and general manager of the Graphics of the Americas.
Graphics of the Americas will partner with Xplor International, the customized-information association, to make possible a 2-day variable data printing (VDP) conference. "Xplor teaming with Graphics of the Americas is a natural fit as convergence progresses in our industry," says Skip Henk, Xplor president and CEO.
Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2005, the Graphics of the Americas show will be held February 4-6, 2005 at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Florida. (Graphics of the Americas: www.graphicsoftheamericas.com; Xplor International, www.xplor.org)
