Service and support for the 343 will continue.
Hasselblad USA has announced that it is discontinuing its Flextight 343 scanner. There are no plans, it says, to replace the 343 with any other model; all the other Flextight scanner models"?the 646, 848, and 949"?are not affected by this announcement.
Although the scanner is being discontinued, says Hasselblad, it does have remaining inventory. Hasselblad will continue to service and support the FT343 scanner even after its discontinuation.
The Flextight brand became part of Hasselblad when the company acquired Imacon in mid-2004.
