Offers improved tear strength and image quality
Hewlett-Packard has expanded its large-format media line to include two new scrims. HP Opaque Scrim (previously named HP Premium Scrim) is new with improved tear strength, color gamut, and image quality, as well as brightness that eliminates ink shadows on the unprinted side. HP Durable Scrim is similar to Opaque Scrim, but is geared more towards economy and more rugged applications where opacity and up-close image crispness are not critical. (Hewlett-Packard: www.hp.com)
