Inkjet Technology, Inc. (ITI) has added a high-speed model of its 126-in. TX3200 textile printer. The new TXK version is configured with two or four Kyocera KJ4B printheads for speeds up to 2195 sq ft/hr; its sister machine features Ricoh Gen5 heads for speeds up to 1300 sq ft/hr.
The Kyocera model also offers a rear media handling system for transfer paper or direct-to-fabric media. The company’s ink is specially formulated to print on either type of media without changing inks. Additional features include an internal vacuum system and an ink collection gutter.
An internal bottom-mounted heater is available for direct-to-fabric applications.
