“Reiterating our commitment to achieving the highest quality standards in the printing industry.”
Cincinnati-based KDM P.O.P. Solutions Group has announced that it has achieved the level of G7 Master Printer Qualification by IDEAlliance.
By meeting the G7 methodology, reports KDM, its customers are assured of predictable and consistent color matching across its multiple printing presses. Customers also benefit from reductions in platemaking costs, make-ready time, and in consumable waste, KDM points out.
“The G7 Master Printer certificate of qualification reiterates our commitment to achieving the highest quality standards in the printing industry,” says Bob Kissel, KDM’s president. “We are proud of the diligence of our employees in meeting these strict specifications.”
The G7 Master Printer certification recognizes printers that demonstrate the knowledge, skill, and fundamental practices essential to press and proof calibration and using GRACoL specifications for color matching. The designation requires that printers go through an audit of the process-control procedures, color-measurement equipment, and quality of printing.
In business since 1970, KDM boasts more than 30 printing presses covering seven print technologies, including wide- and small-format digital, screen, UV offset, conventional offset, flexo, and photographic imaging. The company also offers in-house finishing, kitting and assembly; creative design services; custom merchandise display fabrication; retail environment solutions; branding solutions for indoor and outdoor; in-house warehousing, fulfillment and national distribution; custom online procurement and project-management tools; and more.
