New color set enables accurate 6-color proofing
Kodak Polychrome Graphics announced its HiFi Color Set--CMYKOG for the SWOP-certified Matchprint Digital Halftone Proofing System. The new color set allows accurate 6-color proofing, including stochastic print jobs, on KPG's IR thermal digital halftone system, which uses the same RIP to make both the plates and the proofs used in a press job.
The HiFi color set has been developed and approved for use with Creo Trendsetter Spectrum and ECRM DesertCat 88 platesetters. (Kodak Polychrome Graphics: www.kpgraphics.com)
