Shaghai Yaselan Advertising, a leading Chinese manufacturer of solvent-system inkjet printers, has officially launched a 3.4 meter (11 ft.), eight-printhead grand-format printer that can output graphics in speeds of 287 sq ft/hr in its best-quality mode and 558 sq ft/hr in its normal mode. The machine has been dubbed the YSL-S8N.

Yaselan is now seeking distributors in Europe and the Americas who can provide a high standard of service and technical support for customers.

Yaselan's general manager George Qian says "Our company is confident of its ability to be on the first level worldwide, by supplying well-engineered and stable machines supported by excellent after-sales service. It is this formula which has led to our strong success in China."

Designers of the YSL-S8N chose to use Spectra Nova printheads because of their accuracy, precision, and long life. The superwide is designed to be operator friendly and includes an integrated, automated color compensation system and ICC profile management to ensure accurate and consistent color.
