Color management, streamlining workflows, and more.
This September, LexJet will launch a touring educational initiative, 'Great Output Seminar: Printing for Profitability in the Digital Darkroom.' Designed for photographers and digital fine-art printers, the one-day seminars will be led by LexJet's technical support director, Tom Hauenstein, and will cover color-management, printing, and marketing techniques.
Hauenstein will teach his 'one-and-done' method for color-managing and streamlining workflows as well explain how to obtain and use the right profile for different types of print materials and marketing techniques for various types of photography businesses including fine-art and commercial. Epson, Canon, and HP printers and ColorByte's ImagePrint RIP will be evaluated in addition to color-calibration equipment, monitors, and finishing equipment.
Sponsored by LexJet and Epson, the tour will make 16 stops across the US, beginning in Miami on Sept. 10 and ending on Feb. 27, 2008, in New York City. Registration is $49 and includes lunch, presentation and educational materials, giveaways, media samples, and special sponsor discounts.
