LexJet has added Sunset Fibre Elite to its line of Sunset fine-art media designed for photographic reproduction. Like the company's other Sunset Fibre papers, Fibre Elite is modeled after the traditional fibre-based materials used in a conventional darkroom for a high-end, classic look and feel. The smooth, bright white paper has a 285-g microporous gloss-coated surface with an acid-inhibiting layer and is compatible with dye and pigmented inks.
Sunset Fibre Elite is available in standard sheet sizes and in roll widths from 17- to 44-in.
Also, LexJet has expanded its Inkjet Cartridge Recycling program to include more than 18 cartridge models for both wide-format and desktop HP, Canon, and Epson inkjet printers. When used cartridges are returned, they are re-used or processed into recycled raw materials. The program is free to use; participants are provided with pre-paid shipping labels and envelopes to ship the used cartridges. Since 2005 when the program began with recycling for the HP Designjet 5000/5500 cartridges, more than 100,000 cartridges have been recycled.
