Saluting outstanding vehicle graphics, signs, and technical achievements
Creative users of MACtac self-adhesive vinyl films are encouraged to enter Mactac's 2004 worldwide awards competition. To qualify, your project must have been produced in 2002 or 2003 with either digital printing or CAS techniques. The project must be fabricated with one of Mactac's MACmark?. IMAGin?, Thermacolor?, or Permacolor? products. Entries may be submitted by signmakers, applicators, and others responsible for designing, producing, or applying signs.
An independent jury will judge entries in four categories:
vehicle graphics (cars, buses, trucks, trains, planes),
exterior signs (billboards, buildings, events),
interior signs (showrooms, tradeshows, shops, museums), and
technical achievement (3D shapes, large-scale projects, and other demanding applications).
Prizes will be awarded in three geographic areas: the Americas, Europe, and Middle East/Africa/Asia/Oceania. International category winners will receive inter-continental trips; national/regional winners will receive trips within their own continent.
To enter, download and complete the entry form from www.mactac-awards.com and enclose a written description of the project along with a high quality photograph (recommended format: 5 x 7) or high resolution print/digital file on a CD (minimum 600 dpi).
Entries will be evaluated for creativity and visual impact as well as technical achievement (converting and application skills). Judging will be based on job complexity, size, project organization, and efficiency.
