Midwest Sign and Screen Printing Supply Co. is now selling the 6-color Mutoh Toucan wide-format printer. The 720-dpi printer is available in 63- and 86-in. widths and uses solvent-based inks to print up to 800 sq ft/hr.
The Toucan features fill-on-the-fly bulk ink reservoirs and digitally controlled pre- and post-heaters. The front end includes a Thunderbird PostScript print server, ISIS Print Manager software, and an onboard 21-GB hard drive. Installation and six-month on-site warranty service are included.
