Automated liquid coaters offer high-production volume for digital prints.
The new Neschen AccuCure 60 UV and AccuCure 80 UV automated liquid coaters offer high-production volume for digital prints. Compatible with all inkjet and e-stat inksets, the 60- and 80-in. coaters run at speeds up to 110 ft/min and can handle flexible and rigid substrates up to 3-in. thick. The coating thickness is also variable, from 0.3- to 0.8-mil thick, and independent roller controls allow the adjustment of the coating texture.
With the AccuCure’s three supply tanks-storing two coatings and one cleaning solution on-board-and automated cleaning system, switching coatings and routine maintenance is easy, the company reports. In addition, the AccuCure coaters offer an air-knife separator system (to allow lightweight materials to be coated without sticking to the rollers) and an attached compact UV dryer for instant curing of prints. Options include a rollfed input/take-up unit.
MSRP: $69,995, AccuCure 60 UV; $89,995, AccuCure 80 UV.
