Zunde replaces Weeldreyer
Scitex Vision has appointed Steve Zunde to replace Tim Weeldreyer as president of Scitex Vision America. Prior to joining Scitex Vision, Zunde served as president of the Digital Division of KBA North America, an organization spawned from the joint venture between Scitex and KBA. Zunde managed the North American unit Karat Digital Press N.A. Before Karat, Zunde was president of Anchor Chemicals, the printing chemicals division of International Paper that was later sold to Fuji Photo Film.
In announcing the appointment, Scitex Vision president Dov Ofer expressed confidence that Zunde would be able to help Scitex Vision "meet our goals of increasing our market share in the graphic-arts industry and penetrating the packaging market."
Scitex Vision makes digital printing presses and consumables for graphic arts, packaging and textile applications and owns Aprion's patented drop-on-demand, piezo inkjet printheads that use water-based inks. Scitex Vision is headquartered in Netanya, Israel, with subsidiaries in Atlanta, Georgia and Brussels, Belgium. (Scitex Vision: www.scitexvision.com)
