(November 2013) posted on Fri Nov 22, 2013

Webinars will examine sustainability strategies for print providers, suppliers, and print buyers.

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) – the non-profit organization providing sustainability certification to the printing industry – has announced the launch of a three-part webinar series designed to help companies develop effective strategies for embracing sustainability in print.

Each webinar has a specific focus, examining sustainability as it relates to suppliers, print buyers, and printers:
• "Sustainable Print and the Supplier," November 21, 2:00 p.m. (EST);
• "How Sustainable is Your Supply Chain?" December 5, 2:00 p.m. (EST); and
• “Sustainable Print – Why Your Customer Wants It and What You Can Do,” January 9, 2:00 p.m. (EST).

"Sustainability impacts all parties involved within the print industry – from the supplier who creates the board to the print buyer who solicits a printer's services," says Paul Lilienthal, chair, SGP Board of Directors. "These informational webinars will help the supply chain to understand sustainability within specific contexts and devise the best means for integrating sustainability into company operations."

"Sustainable Print and the Supplier," the first webinar of the series, will examine suppliers' contributions to sustainability in the printing industry.

The second webinar – "How Sustainable is Your Supply Chain?" – will address how sustainability-minded print buyers can verify the sustainability credentials of their print-supply chain.

"Sustainable Print – Why Your Customer Wants It and What You Can Do," the final webinar, will discuss the growing interest in sustainable products within the print market space and the options available to the print industry to meet this demand.

Registration for the webinars is now open at www.sgppartnership.org.
