A classic childhood toy has inspired the latest – and one of the most innovative – tension fabric display systems from PosterGarden.
Called the Varia.Sophora, the new display utilizes central hubs, straight and curved aluminum tubing, and connectors much like those found in Tinker Toys to create a wide range of unique frame shapes and styles. Combined with full-color, custom-printed graphics, the displays bring to life just about any idea that exhibitors can conjure up.
“It’s really a simple concept, but it’s one that opens up all kinds of possibilities for displays,” said Michael Rigby, Vice President of Operations for PosterGarden. “Just like with Tinker Toys, there are an infinite number of combinations and configurations that can be created. Your imagination is the only limit here.”
The new Varia.Sophora features a completely tool-less assembly, which makes it incredibly easy to set up. The solid aluminum hubs and connectors fit together with 2” straight and curved aluminum tubing with simple push-button connectors. Full-color graphics, printed on PosterGarden’s EcoKnit fabric, slip right over the frame and secure in a unique pillow case and zipper design. LCD monitors and tablets can be added to the display with simple connectors, and plans are in the works to add a counter top option and shelving accessories as well.
“We’ve always taken a lot of pride in our fabric displays because they really are easy to use, versatile and they look fantastic,” Rigby said. “With the Varia.Sophora, we’re taking the creativity to an entirely different level. If you can dream it up, this display can make it happen.”
Rigby said he expects customers will be able to begin ordering the new display later this spring.
